A spirogram is a cardio pulmonary test which is a valuable tool for evaluating the respiratory system of workers exposed to asbestos, silica and/or coal dust. These tests, required under section 40 of the OH & S code, need to be done within 60 days of worker exposure to asbestos, silica or coal dust and then every two years there after.
